Ave Maria Reconquista
A cigar lit for a brother lost on September 20, 2025.

This is the hardest week of the year, and it has been since last year.
Last September, my wife went under for a cancerous tumor. I prayed for hours in the waiting room. She came out well, and it was removed. It was the perfect operation. We couldn't have asked for more.
Then, in the recovery room, I received news that my younger brother in Boston was missing. So, being a soldier like he was, we checked jails and hospitals, and finally he was found in his apartment, unresponsive. He was rushed to the hospital and put on life support. At 4 a.m. on September 20, 2025, he passed. He was only 39.
Today I light an Ave Maria Reconquista for him, along with several shots of tequila and perhaps a pill or two.
I love you, bro.
